Christian Dumontet, former partner of Christine Quinn, facing charges of child abuse
Christine Quinn and Christian Dumontet‘s breakup is becoming more complex.
After more than a month since Dumontet was initially arrested following an alleged domestic incident at their former residence involving their 2-year-old son Christian, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office has officially pressed charges against the tech entrepreneur.
A spokesperson from the City Attorney’s office confirmed to E! News that Dumontet is facing charges of child abuse/endangerment, assault, and violation of a protective order. The arraignment is scheduled for June 4.
E! News has contacted Dumontet’s legal team for a response, but has not received a reply yet.
Quinn’s lawyer, Jacqueline Sparagna, on the other hand, expressed satisfaction with the decision of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office to file three distinct charges against Mr. Dumontet.
“We view this development as a crucial step in protecting the legal and personal interests of both victims,” the statement read, “and we trust that the matter will be handled seriously as it should be.”
