Sadie, 13, Daughter of Christina Applegate, Shares Her Health Struggles
Christina Applegate‘s daughter Sadie LeNoble is facing her own health challenges.
As the Dead to Me actress deals with multiple sclerosis (MS), her 13-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, POTS, which can cause symptoms like a rapid heart rate, dizziness, and fatigue when moving from sitting to standing.
“When I stand up, I feel really dizzy, my legs become weak, and I feel like I might faint,” Sadie shared on a podcast episode of her mom’s MeSsy podcast. “I’ve fainted before and lost consciousness, but that’s not common.”
While dealing with this diagnosis has been tough for Sadie, especially at school, it has also helped her empathize with her mom’s struggles.
“Having this condition has made me understand what my mom goes through,” Sadie, whose father is Christina’s ex-husband Martyn LeNoble, explained. “When my mom says, ‘I’m in pain right now’ or ‘I’m experiencing tremors,’ I can relate because I also have tremors from POTS.”
