Christina Applegate Faces Challenge of 30 Brain Lesions During Her MS Battle
Following the tragic loss of her husband in a hit-and-run accident, Jen Harding, portrayed by Christina Applegate, forms a bond with Judy Hale (played by Linda Cardellini), who claims to have lost her fiancé to a heart attack. However, as the series progresses, it becomes evident that Judy’s past is shrouded in mystery.
Throughout the three seasons of the show, Applegate, also serving as an executive producer, has garnered multiple award nominations for her stellar performance, including three Emmy nods and four SAG Award recognitions. During the final season, the actress revealed her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, while Cardellini recently shared their emotional experience filming the last scene.
