BJ Thompson, Chiefs Player, Attends Super Bowl Ring Ceremony Following Health Scare
Recently, Turnage discussed a “very scary event.”
“It’s very difficult to watch someone in bed,” he shared with Fox 4 June 11. “As you mentioned, you feel powerless in the situation. You can’t just snap your fingers and make everything better.”
Despite this, Turnage mentioned that Thompson, who was drafted by the Chiefs in 2023 and played one game in his first season, was already on the road to recovery.
“BJ is improving a lot,” he added. “He has been discharged from the hospital and is back home. He’s engaging in conversations, carrying out normal activities, and the prognosis looks positive. There is still some confusion as they conduct various tests, but he’s definitely feeling much better now.”
