McGee has appeared in several made-for-TV movies and short-lived TV series, and she also made a guest appearance as Shawn’s girlfriend Angela on an episode of Girl Meets World, despite the less-than-ideal circumstances of her departure from Boy Meets World.
During an episode of Pod Meets World in 2022, McGee revealed to Fishel, Strong, and Friedle that she was told the showrunner had specifically requested for her not to be included in the 2000 series finale. This led to Angela’s abrupt departure for Europe while the rest of the characters were wrapping up their storylines.
Friedle denied the claim, stating that it never happened. McGee expressed regret over any previous animosity between her and Fishel, acknowledging that they could have been more supportive of each other during the show’s run. Fishel agreed, saying, “We could’ve been more of a team.”
McGee has since rejoined the fan convention circuit and reunited with Fishel, Strong, and Friedle for Daniels’ 96th birthday on March 31, 2023. She is also a singer, artist, and mother of three children, two of whom are with her ex-husband, Courtland Davis.
In 2024, Trina announced that she is expecting her fourth child at the age of 54.
