Charlize Theron Raves About Anya Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Calling it a Beautiful Film

Charlize Theron reveals she has watched Anya Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa
Charlize Theron portrayed Imperator Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road alongside co-star Tom Hardy. The film follows his character, Max Rockatansky, as he engages in a fierce road battle with Furiosa.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, the actress recently hosted the fourth annual block party for her Africa Outreach Project, where she discussed her thoughts on Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the fifth installment in the Mad Max franchise.
The movie is set before Fury Road and features Anya Taylor-Joy as a younger version of Theron’s character. Theron, known for her role in the Bombshell movie, confirmed that she had seen Miller’s latest project, describing it as “amazing” and “a beautiful film”.
Theron also mentioned that she hasn’t had much opportunity to converse with Anya Taylor-Joy since the film’s release. While they often run into each other unexpectedly, they haven’t had a chance to sit down and chat yet. Theron expressed, “We’re constantly like, ‘Oh my god, OK, let’s get together!’ And then life takes over. But it will happen when it’s right.”

Anya Taylor-Joy praises Charlize Theron’s performance in Mad Max: Fury Road
In a previous interview with CNN, Anya Taylor-Joy raved about the legendary actress Charlize Theron’s performance in Fury Road (2015). She mentioned that she has been in touch with Theron now that they both have roles in the franchise.
She said, “We have emailed a bunch. We met at the Oscars, and she’s just as lovely and gracious and cool as you could imagine.”
Anya added that she feels fortunate to share a character with Theron, noting that Theron’s performance in Fury Road made her fall in love with the character of Furiosa.
