Charlie Hunnam’s Unforgettable Met Gala Appearance Will Leave You Breathless
Charlie Hunnam is definitely one of the classy gentlemen.
The Sons of Anarchy alum made his debut at the Met Gala on May 6 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, attending the event co-chaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth (who actually beat Charlie for the role of Thor in the 2011 Marvel movie.)
Charlie, 44, went for a simple look for his first gala, styled by Samantha McMillen and dressed in an all black tux with a multi-chain necklace to match the evening’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” inspired by the Met’s exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” (Check out all the stars at the 2024 Met Gala here.)
Charlie, who has been in a relationship with Morgana McNelis since 2005, has been keeping busy lately, with his latest appearance in the 2023 Netflix movie Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire. Taking on this film is part of the career evolution Charlie has been pursuing in recent years, as he has observed his interests and priorities changing.
