Chappell Roan is prioritizing her mental health.
The singer, known for her song “Femininomenon,” announced that she would not be performing at the All Things Go music festival in New York City and Columbia, Md. She made this decision just one day before her scheduled performance.
In an Instagram Story posted on Sept. 27, she apologized to fans who were looking forward to seeing her at the festival. She explained, “Things have become overwhelming in the past few weeks, and I am really feeling it.”
Chappell, who is 26 years old, added, “I feel pressure to prioritize many things right now, and I need a few days to focus on my health. I want to be fully present during my performances and give my best show possible. Thank you for understanding. I will be back soon xox.”

The festival also released a statement on social media regarding the cancellation of her performance. They emphasized the importance of prioritizing health and well-being, stating, “While we understand your disappointment, it is crucial to always prioritize health first.”
