Chanel Iman Ties the Knot with Davon Godchaux 5 Months post the Arrival of Baby No. 3
Chanel Iman transitioned from supermodel to super-bride as she married New England Patriots player Davon Godchaux on Feb. 24. Their wedding took place less than a year after their engagement and just five months after welcoming their daughter, Capri Summer Godchaux.
In an interview with Vogue, Chanel shared, “We had always dreamed of this moment, discussing marriage and our future together.”
The 33-year-old bride, who is also a mother to daughters Cali Clay Shephard and Cassie Snow Shephard with ex-husband Sterling Shephard, revealed that their wedding took place on a yacht named the Parillion in the Caribbean Sea. They then celebrated their union in Anguilla, choosing to elope due to their eagerness to be officially married.
“We organized the wedding based on our preferences—engaging in an activity we love with our children and blended family,” Chanel elaborated. “It was a day that perfectly matched our dreams and ideals.”
Despite having most of their loved ones present, one important family member, NFL player Davon Godchaux II, 7, from a previous relationship, was unable to attend the festivities at the last minute.
