Celine Dion Confesses She Can Rock Any Shoe Size, Despite the Pain
Celine Dion’s new documentary series, I Am: Celine Dion, reveals her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). One fun fact she shared is her ability to wear shoes of all sizes despite the discomfort. She loves different shoes and will fit her feet into any size to ensure she doesn’t miss out on a pair.
Regardless of the size, Celine can make any shoe work for her. Give her a size 6 or a size 10, and she will proudly walk in those shoes.
Celine’s confession about having all sizes of shoes
“When a girl loves her shoes, she will always make them fit. I have worn shoes that were too small, my toes were like claws because they didn’t have my size,” she declared. Celine further explained her shoe obsession, saying, “Every time I went to a store and fell in love with a pair, they would ask for my size, but I would insist on making them work. I will walk the shoe.”
She proudly stated, “I walk the shoe, the shoe doesn’t walk me. I’ve worked with my shoes, from size six to ten, give them to me. I love them.”
In her documentary, Celine opens up about her return to the stage, her travels, and the seizures she experiences due to Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare autoimmune neurological disorder diagnosed in 2022.

During filming, Celine experiences a seizure and struggles to breathe. Medical professionals intervene to help her manage the muscle spasms and provide a nasal spray to calm her breathing. Despite the embarrassment, she resolves to keep going and not let the disorder stop her.
Reflecting on her experience, Celine shares, “Every time something like this happens, it makes you feel embarrassed and out of control. I always find a way to keep going, that’s me. If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl. But I won’t stop.”
