“Lenny was tough,” he expressed to E! in December. “He was a real person, so the weight of responsibility felt much greater, and his personality was so unique.”
The length of time he had to portray the composer was also a factor, with him saying, “He aged from 25 to 67. The difficulty level was incomparable. I was truly afraid.”
“Many people supported this idea,” added the Silver Linings Playbook actor, “so I feel a sense of relief.”
