Cardi B Shares the Story of How She Discovered She Was Pregnant With Baby No. 3
Cardi B was quick to respond after her estranged husband Offset accused her of cheating while pregnant.
Cardi B‘s third pregnancy came as a surprise to her.
The Grammy-winning rapper opened up about her pregnancy with her baby girl, who she welcomed with Offset earlier this month. Cardi, 31, and Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, have children Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 3.
“I found out late too,” the “Bodak Yellow” emcee revealed to her followers during an Instagram Live session on Sept. 28.
Cardi explained that in January, she had surgery for butt injections and fibrosis removal, requiring two negative pregnancy blood tests. After the operation, while promoting her single “Enough,” she realized she was pregnant after experiencing telltale signs.
“I woke up one morning and my mouth tasted like copper,” she said. “And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this only happens to me when I’m pregnant. So, I immediately knew that I was pregnant.”
Initially, Cardi thought she was six or seven weeks pregnant, but her doctor corrected her on the timeline.
