Recently, Sandy tied the knot with the love of her life, Leah Schafer, on a yacht in Fort Lauderdale. The wedding was attended by fellow Below Deck stars Kate Chastain and Aesha Scott.
Reflecting on the ceremony, Sandy said, “It was incredible and beyond my wildest thoughts and dreams. I had no idea the feeling I would have.”
Fans will soon witness Sandy’s romantic proposal to Leah on the current season of Below Deck Med.
Regarding filming their engagement, Sandy expressed, “Why not include that? Also, to show people that we’re normal. We’re just two women. It’s about love, not about the sex. It’s about love and I thought that was important.”
