During her walk up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 6, the “I LUV IT” singer carried a purse made of a massive block of ice.
Camila explained to Extra on May 6, “I believe it symbolizes impermanence and the beauty in things decaying over time.”
The ice purse certainly lived up to its impermanent nature as it actually broke while she was on the red carpet.
Camila shared, “It started as a purse, but it broke after about five minutes in line, so I had to improvise.”
Deciding to carry it as a clutch instead, she remarked, “We’re just experimenting.”
