Brittany Cartwright Responds to Jax Taylor’s Mixed Messages About Their Marriage
Jax Taylor Gives Brittany Cartwright Full Custody of Son Cruz in New Divorce Filing
Brittany Cartwright is addressing the confusion.
After her ex Jax Taylor, with whom Brittany shares son Cruz, 3, appeared to suggest that they were not legally married, she clarified the situation.
Commenting on E! News’ Oct. 2 Instagram post about the matter, The Valley star stated, “We are legally married. I’m guessing paperwork is hard for some people.”
Lance Bass, who officiated the couple’s 2019 ceremony, also confirmed Brittany’s statement by commenting, “I can confirm this. Pastor Lance signed the papers.”
Brittany’s recent statement comes just over a month after she filed for divorce from her spouse of five years.
Jax’s response to the filing, as reported by E! News on Oct. 2, included the Vanderpump Rules star acknowledging that he and Brittany are married, despite also asserting that they were never legally married or in a domestic partnership.
However, the reality star later explained that the handwritten and self-submitted legal documents contained inaccuracies.
