With only five days remaining until the highly anticipated release, the makers of Jr NTR starrer had to, unfortunately, cancel the pre-release event in Hyderabad today, September 22. According to our sources, the turnout exceeded capacity and became unmanageable.
We also heard, Jr NTR, who was set to leave for the venue, was advised against attending due to the overwhelming presence of fans attempting to access the auditorium from all sides. Filmmaker Trivikram, who was attending Devara pre-release event as a Chief Guest, had to return from the venue.
Here’s how fans are reacting to this prompt decision taken by the makers of Devara:
Devara, directed by Siva Koratala, features a stellar cast that includes Saif Ali Khan as Bhaira and Janhvi Kapoor as Thangam in lead roles alongside Jr NTR. under the direction of Koratala Siva. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and N. T. R. Arts, the much-awaited release of September 2024 will be out in cinema halls in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
For the unversed, Devara will be released in 2 parts. During one of the interviews, Jr NTR revealed to Sandeep Reddy Vanga, “We never wanted to actually make this film in two parts. Never. We never had the intention of making it into two parts. But going deep into it, when we started shooting for it, it’s characters-driven.”
