Rumors of Feud Between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni
According to Baldoni, many of the ideas for the film were contributed by Lively.
“She was very involved and really enhanced the film,” Baldoni stated in an interview with Access Hollywood on Aug. 7. “There were times when I just stepped back and let her take the lead.”
However, not everyone on the team agreed. Lively mentioned that there were creative disagreements during the movie-making process, particularly regarding the decision to include Lana Del Rey’s song “Cherry” in the film.
“They pleaded with me to remove that song from the movie,” revealed the Gossip Girl star in a recent interview with Hits Radio UK. “I shouldn’t be talking about this, but they felt it was too intense and emotional, especially since things were still good with Ryle at that time and you don’t want to feel that intensity.”
From Lively’s perspective, “Once Atlas enters the picture, things become intense and emotional,” she elaborated. “There’s conflict, pain, turmoil, and tension. You’re faced with the person you consider your soulmate, the one that got away, the haunting presence in your life, and you still share that deep connection. You may love them deeply, but their presence will shake you to your core.”
