Billy Ray Cyrus Obtains Court Order Preventing Firerose from Using His Credit Cards
Billy Ray Cyrus‘s first encounter with Firerose happened while he was taking a break with his dog on the set of Hannah Montana, the popular Disney Channel series that he starred in with his daughter Miley Cyrus from 2006 to 2011.
“Firerose came out of the front door that day,” the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer shared with People. “There was a moment of almost recognition. I thought, ‘This girl is a star.'”
Although Cyrus didn’t know who Firerose, then 22, was at the time, she was already familiar with his music. “Growing up in Australia, my love for music was above everything else,” she explained. “I’ve been a fan of his music for a long time.”
At the time, Cyrus was at the set for an audition when he offered to introduce Firerose to the Hannah Montana crew and invited her to watch the show’s rehearsal.
“She got to meet many of the cast members, producers, and writers,” he recalled. “And, in many ways, we started a friendship.”
