Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose End Relationship Due to “Inappropriate” Behavior
Billy Ray Cyrus‘s first meeting with Firerose occurred while he was taking a break with his dog on the set of Hannah Montana, the popular Disney Channel series he co-starred in with his daughter Miley Cyrus from 2006 to 2011.
“On that particular day, Firerose emerged from the front door,” the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer recounted to People. “There was almost a sense of familiarity. I remember thinking, ‘This girl has star quality.'”
Although Cyrus was unaware of Firerose’s identity at the time, the 22-year-old hopeful certainly recognized him. “Growing up in Australia, my passion for music overshadowed everything,” she shared. “I’ve been a fan of his music for as long as I can remember.”
During her audition, Cyrus kindly offered to introduce Firerose to the Hannah Montana crew and extended an invitation for her to observe the show’s rehearsal.
“She met many members of the cast, as well as the producers and writers,” he elaborated. “Through this interaction, we developed a friendship, in many ways.”
