Firerose, Billy Ray Cyrus’ Ex, Advises Her Younger Self to “Run” From Him
Billy Ray Cyrus‘s initial meeting with Firerose occurred during a break on the set of Hannah Montana, the popular Disney Channel show he co-starred in with his daughter Miley Cyrus from 2006 until 2011.
“On that particular day, Firerose emerged from the front entrance,” the singer of “Achy Breaky Heart” recounted to People. “There was almost a moment of recognition. I thought, ‘This girl’s a star.'”
At the time, Cyrus had no clue who the then 22-year-old Firerose was, but his future fiancée was very familiar with him. “Music has always been my passion,” she explained. “I’ve been a fan of his music for as long as I can remember.”
During an audition, Cyrus offered to introduce Firerose to the Hannah Montana cast and invited her to observe a rehearsal of the show.
“She met several members of the cast, as well as the producers and writers,” he said. “And, in many ways, we developed a friendship.”
