Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott, former Big Brother housemates, call it quits
Memphis Garrett and Christmas Abbott are making a significant change.
The Big Brother stars are splitting up after less than two years of marriage, with Memphis filing for divorce, as per court documents obtained by TMZ. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation.
Both stars have not commented publicly on the divorce filing. However, Christmas posted a cryptic message on Instagram on March 2 with a picture of a truck that read, “The best is yet to come.” In the caption, the 42-year-old wrote, “When life shows you it has your back.”
The relationship between the two evolved from being competitors to becoming lovers shortly after the end of season 22 of Big Brother: All Stars, confirming their relationship to E! News in December 2020.
“My favorite thing about Memphis is that he truly understands and appreciates me for who I am,” Christmas expressed. “He sees the real me and values me for that, not for who he wants me to be or who I used to be. He makes me feel at home. I also admire his bold, unapologetic nature. He is authentically himself.”
