Biden Talks About His Age, Taylor Swift Conspiracies, and Other Topics on Seth Meyers’ Late-Night Show
(NEW YORK) — President Joe Biden made a stop in New York on Monday to appear on NBC’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers” at 30 Rockefeller.
During the interview, Biden was asked about his age, his 2024 agenda compared to former President Donald Trump’s, and other important issues.
Seth Meyers jokingly mentioned leaked documents that said Biden is 81 years old, to which Biden responded in jest. Meyers then raised concerns about voters being worried about Biden’s age and how he plans to address it during his campaign.
The conversation shifted to the importance of ideas and the future, with Biden emphasizing the need to focus on progress rather than dwelling on age. He also addressed the criticism he has faced regarding his stamina and age by increasing his public appearances.
The interview covered a range of topics, including Biden’s stance on aid to Ukraine, the Israel-Hamas conflict, and conspiracy theories involving Taylor Swift and Democrats. Biden expressed optimism about finding a path forward in the Israel-Hamas conflict, despite challenges.
During the interview, Biden also emphasized the importance of supporting Israel while cautioning against certain tactics being used in Gaza that could harm Israel’s global standing.
