Tina Knowles, Mother of Beyoncé, Shares Exclusive Insight into Twins Rumi and Sir
Tina Knowles is sharing her thoughts about Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s twins.
The fashion designer, who is the mother of the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer, couldn’t stop praising Rumi Carter and Sir Carter, both 7, as they each pursue their own passions.
“Rumi is a natural little star,” Tina exclusively told E! News’ Francesca Amiker on August 17 at a charity event for LGBTQ+ nonprofit Destination Tomorrow, “and Sir is more interested in books and electronics.”
Reflecting on how the twins have interests ranging from art to science, the 70-year-old continued, “We are making sure they are well-rounded.”
Tina believes that a creative soul like Rumi will not be stopped from getting on stage if she decides to follow in her 12-year-old sister Blue Ivy Carter‘s footsteps as a backup dancer for their mother.
“They are all artists,” she exclaimed. “It’s in their blood.”
