Rumi, Beyoncé’s Daughter, Sets New Musical Record Previously Held by Sister Blue Ivy
Beyoncé‘s daughters are making waves in the world.
Jay-Z and the youngest daughter of the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer, Rumi, have broken a new record—taking it from her older sister Blue Ivy.
Rumi, who is the twin of her brother Sir, was featured on the track “Protector” from Cowboy Carter, making her the youngest woman in history to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 at just 6 years old.
On track four of Beyoncé’s latest country album, currently at number 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Rumi can be heard asking her mother for a lullaby, surpassing her sister Blue, who was featured on Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl” in 2019, reaching number 76 at age 12. Blue sang on the Lion King movie track at 7 years old.
Despite Rumi becoming the youngest woman to chart on the Billboard Hot list, Blue still holds the record for being the youngest person ever to claim a spot on any Billboard chart.
