The popular show is gearing up for its final season, and the streaming platform has released behind-the-scenes footage showing the cast in action both on and off set. According to one person in the video, it’s going to be the “best season yet!”
Netflix Teases Stranger Things Season 5
Lights, camera, action! The footage reveals that filming for the exciting fifth season of Stranger Things is already halfway completed. Maya Hawke and Joe Keery make an appearance to kick off day one of filming for season 5.
The footage also features Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, the heart of the show. She reflects on the journey by driving to the set and mentioning that it has been a decade since she filmed the first season at the age of 10. “I started when I was 10. I’m now turning 20-years-old. Feels very weird,” she shares.
We also see Sadie Sink, who portrays Max, in the costume warehouse, pointing out her character’s iconic blue and yellow hoodie. “We’re just kind of savoring every single moment,” she says in the voiceover.
The clip shows the entire young and older cast filming together, capturing a moment between Charlie Heaton and Natalia Dyer, whose on-screen romance as Johnathan and Nancy extended into real life.
The original boys gang—Mike, Dustin, Will, and Lucas—is back with new adventures! Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, expresses his excitement to have scenes with the original four. Overall, the footage is emotional and serves as a reminder of the end of an era.
