Ben Affleck Shares Hilarious Fan Encounter With Jennifer Lopez
Despite the fanfare, Affleck’s kids found it thoroughly entertaining as they have a tradition of jokingly coming up with titles for their future autobiographies.
“My daughter turned to me,” the actor shared, “and said, ‘J.Lo Was My Stepmother.’ I thought, ‘That’s a good title.’ It could have been worse.”
Aside from the jokes, Affleck also opened up about the negative impact of the media attention on his, Lopez’s, and Garner’s children.
He expressed his concern for making sure he’s doing right by them every day, especially when he sees them affected by the public scrutiny. It saddens him to think that their lives would be different if not for his celebrity status.
However, Affleck recognized that their fame also has its advantages.
“But I believe that this life is better for them than the one I had,” he explained. “It’s a balancing act, and Jennifer and I discuss how our kids’ lives differ from ours.”
