Ben Affleck Once Discussed His and Jennifer Lopez’s Differing Perspectives on Privacy

Despite widespread speculation about their relationship status, both the Grammy nominee and the Oscar winner have chosen to remain silent on the matter. However, in a recent documentary released at the end of February, fans gained insight into a disagreement between Ben and Jen.
In J.Lo’s documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Ben reflected on his discomfort with the intense scrutiny surrounding their relationship during their initial romance in the early 2000s.
Recalling the end of their engagement in 2003, Ben stated, “When Jen and I broke up before, the catalyst for that was this massive amount of scrutiny around our private life.”
He revealed that they had differing opinions on dealing with public attention, with him expressing a strong desire for boundaries when it came to the press while sensing that Jen did not share the same objection. “I had a very firm sense of boundaries initially around the press while Jen I don’t think objected to it in the way I did,” the Argo star explained. “I very much did object to it.”
