Recent revelations have shed more light on the tragic final moments of John Hunt‘s family members.
Following a horrifying crossbow attack on his wife Carol, 61, and daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, in their home on July 9, new details were disclosed during an inquest on July 30 regarding their deaths.
According to The Guardian, citing the inquest, Hannah was still alive when the police arrived at the scene and had sought help during the attack.
A coroner’s officer revealed at the inquest that Hannah had sent a text to an unidentified person saying she was “tied up” by an intruder and asked them to call the police, mentioning the presence of the attacker in the house.
Reports state that Hannah managed to dial 999, reporting the shootings of herself, her sister, and her mother, providing their address before the call abruptly ended.
The inquest also disclosed that Hannah and Louise succumbed to crossbow injuries, while Carol passed away from stab wounds to her chest and abdomen.
