In a recent interview with India Today, Banita Sandhu hinted at an upcoming project with Diljit Dosanjh and applauded his impact on the Punjabi music industry.
“I recently worked on something with Diljit Dosanjh. I can’t reveal much now, but everyone will find out soon. I’m amazed by Diljit’s achievements for Punjab and Punjabi artists globally,” Banita said.
Speaking about Diljit’s performance on the show, Banita expressed how heartwarming it was to see him represent their culture so beautifully.
“It was a special moment to see him sing there. I don’t think anyone has represented our culture like he has. He is truly unique,” she added.

Banita Sandhu’s upcoming project marks her second collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh, after working together on his music video Jind Mahi in 2018, with lyrics by Gurnazar.
