Kabir Khan reveals his daughter dubbed Harshaali Malhotra’s dialogue in the climax
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a mass entertainer with drama, comedy, action, and emotional moments. The climax of the film is particularly poignant, making the audience emotional. At the end, when Pawan successfully brings Munni back to her home in Pakistan, the little girl finally speaks some words she learned from him.
In an interview with Mashable India, director Kabir Khan revealed that the audio recorded for Harshaali’s dialogue in the climax got corrupted. Since they couldn’t bring the actress to the studio at night, Khan had his daughter Sairah Kabir dub the dialogue instead.
During the final mixing session late at night, Khan realized that the dialogue Harshaali recorded was not clear, causing confusion. Khan then called his wife and asked her to bring their daughter to the mixing studio. He explained to his daughter what to do and she delivered the dialogue, which was used in the film’s final cut.
The filmmaker shared, “I told her you have to yell Mama and Jai Shree Rama. The poor girl delivered the dialogue in her sleep and we recorded it and even gave her credit in post-production sound. So, that’s how it happened.” Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more interesting updates from the film industry.
