Will Smith and Michael Bay set to collaborate on a new action film for Netflix – Get all the details!
It has been three decades since Will Smith and Michael Bay last worked together in Bad Boys. However, Deadline has reported that the duo is looking to reunite for a new action film on Netflix called Fast and Loose. According to reports, Bay is in talks to direct the movie, with Smith set to star as one of the main characters.
In addition to his acting role, Smith is also a co-producer on the project, along with Kelly McCormick and David Leitch for 87North. The plot follows a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no recollection of his past, only to discover that he has been living a double life as both a crime boss and an undercover CIA agent.
The script for Fast and Loose is written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Chris Bremner, and Eric Pearson, with Robert Simonds and Noah Fogelson serving as executive producers for STXfilms. The partnership between Bay and Smith first gained fame in the 1995 film Bad Boys, which spawned three sequels.
Following the success of Bad Boys, both Smith and Bay went on to have successful careers in the entertainment industry. Smith won an Oscar in 2021 for his role in King Richard and starred in several other projects, including Emancipation and Resistor. Meanwhile, Bay is known for his work on the Transformers franchise and Pearl Harbor, and is currently working on a potential adaptation of the internet meme Skibidi Toilet.
