Actress Jessica Gunning Reveals She is Gay
Gunning admitted that she wishes she had realized sooner, acknowledging the signs from the universe, but she is glad she has finally come out. She shared, “Everyone around me was probably wondering when I would come out. It took me 36 years, but I did it.”
She now feels a sense of peace and described her coming out experience as different than expected. She explained, “I used to think it would be like declaring my sexuality—like saying ‘I like boobs.’ But it’s more about revealing who I am. It’s a deeply emotional experience, exposing yet lovely because you’re baring your soul.”
Gunning further shared, “You have heartfelt conversations with your loved ones. It’s truly special. Some of my friends have also shared that it wasn’t easy for them, which was emotional. However, it has been liberating, emotional, and overall wonderful. The support from everyone has been incredible.”
