Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and their children step out for a special outing at WNBA Game
Mila Kunis knows that nobody’s perfect, and she’ll be the first to admit her mistakes, especially when it comes to apologizing to her two children with her husband, Ashton Kutcher – her daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, who is 8, and her son, Dimitri Portwood, who is 6.
“The only thing I’ve ever felt guilty about, and I actually apologized to my 3-year-old, is when I overreact,” she shared with People in 2017, remembering a situation with her toddler daughter. “I’ll walk away, and I’ll come back, and I’ll sit her down and I’m like, ‘I’m really sorry. Mommy overreacted. Do you forgive me?’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, I forgive you.’ Whether she grasps what just happened or not, I want her to know that I’m as imperfect as she is.”
Kunis encourages all mothers to understand that their best efforts are more than sufficient for their children.
“It’s so frowned upon to admit, ‘I feel like I’m not perfect,'” she mentioned in a 2016 interview with A Plus. “You just have to acknowledge that you’re doing the best you can, and that’s more than enough. I know I’m the greatest mom Wyatt’s ever had, and I’m the perfect mom for her.”
