Artem Chigvintsev has been updating his social media profile following his arrest for domestic violence.
The Dancing With the Stars pro recently removed and then re-added his wife Nikki Garcia‘s name to his Instagram bio, as reported by multiple sources.
Currently, his bio reads, “Father to Matteo, DWTS Pro Dancer, Emmy Nominated Choreographer, DWTS Mirror Ball Winner, SCD Mirror Ball Winner @nikkigarcia,” accompanied by emojis of a bride and a red heart.
These alterations were made about a week after Chigvintsev was arrested on August 29 in Napa, California on a California Penal Code 273.5(a) charge related to injuring a spouse or cohabitant, according to booking records reviewed by E! News. He has since been released on a $25,000 bond.
Prior to his arrest, the professional dancer had called 911 for medical assistance and mentioned that Garcia had thrown shoes at him following an argument, as stated in a radio dispatch call obtained by TMZ. The dispatcher also verified that there was “a child on scene.”
