Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval Criticize Raquel Leviss’ Lawsuit Over Revenge Porn
During the period of 2022 to 2023, Sandoval, who was romantically involved with Leviss in secret while dating Madix, submitted a demurrer in response to Leviss’ lawsuit. Demurrers, similar to anti-SLAPP filings, question the adequacy of another party’s pleadings, as defined by Cornell’s LII. If a demurrer is accepted, the cases could be dismissed.
According to documents obtained by E! News, Sandoval argues that Leviss’ claims of eavesdropping lack merit because the civil code does not cover “unconsented videotaping” and only protects auditory or symbolic communications. Furthermore, he states that Leviss’ lawsuit fails to demonstrate that the communication between the parties was confidential.
