“We are selective in remembering that this is how the tabloids treat people, especially women, depending on whether we like them or not,” she stated on the Feb. 26 episode of The Zach Sang Show. “We choose to make room for humanity, for complexity. They don’t make that room – well, they do for their friends and family. It’s selective. But they shut it off when it fits the image of a person they want to believe is true.”
The “Problem” singer also expressed, “there’s a constant sense of frustration, an inexplicable, hellish feeling when you see people misunderstand the people you love, including yourself.”
Ariana’s brother, Frankie Grande, is full of praise for Ethan. “I adore him,” Frankie told TooFab in an interview published on June 5. “He’s a very kind person.”
The former Big Brother contestant, who has experience on Broadway himself, mentioned that he has been a “huge fan” of Ethan since seeing him in The SpongeBob Musical, which ran from 2017 to 2018.
“All I want is for my sister to be happy,” he added. “When she’s happy, I’m happy. So, I’m very happy.”
