Taylor Swift dominates Australian album sales with six highest-selling records on ARIA Charts
Exciting news, everyone! Mumbrella is now going to publish the ARIA Top 50 Singles and Albums charts every Friday afternoon, complete with a brief analysis, so you’ll be ready for the weekend with all the knowledge you need about the current chart-topping hits to dance to in the clubs.
ARIA ALBUMS CHART
Taylor Swift dominated the Australian music scene this week, securing the top six spots on the ARIA Top 10 Albums chart, as well as holding the #8 position. This marks the second consecutive week where she has claimed 70% of the top 10 spots. However, her chart presence is expected to decline as she tours other regions, as evident by the movement on the Singles chart.
The only new entry in the Top 20 is “Swing Fever” by Rod Stewart and Jools Holland at #19. This marks Rod’s 32nd top 20 album, according to ARIA, while Jools has not charted since “Cool For Cats” in 1979.

ARIA SINGLES CHART
Taylor Swift continues to dominate the Singles chart, with “Cruel Summer” holding onto the #1 spot, and “Anti-Hero” and “Lover” at #9 and #10. She has a total of 16 entries in the Top 50.
SZA entered the chart at #8 with “Saturn” as the highest debut, while Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” has jumped to #20, two decades after its initial release.
On the topic of retro re-entries, “Murder On The Dancefloor” is still going strong at #22.
