Aparshakti Khurana remembers not being allowed on stage by lead actor just before trailer launch: ‘I waited in vain’

Actor Aparshakti Khurana is experiencing a successful phase in his career. Following Stree 2, he is now preparing for his upcoming film, Berlin. Recently, he reflected on a moment when he was not allowed to attend a movie trailer launch by his co-lead.

During a recent chat with The Lallantop, Aparshakti Khurana was joined by his Berlin co-star Rahul Bose. Rahul mentioned that he was not even given a chair on the sets of his debut film. Upon hearing this, the Stree 2 actor commented on the various strange experiences all actors go through.

To illustrate his point, Aparshakti shared a personal anecdote without revealing the actor’s identity. He remembered working on a wonderful film with an outstanding set and a great team. The actor expressed his joy in working on the project as everyone delivered their best performances.

He then recounted a situation where an actor, right before the trailer launch of the film, requested the producer to exclude him from the stage and only invite the other actors. Aparshakti shared how he had come all the way from Amritsar to Mumbai for the event but was humiliated by this actor. Despite being dressed up and waiting near the stage, he was informed by a PR team member about last-minute changes and that he would be introduced separately.

He further shared his growth over the years, where he now has a say in his surroundings and how he handles such situations. On the professional front, Aparshakti was last seen in Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, receiving love from the audience. His next project, Berlin, starring Rahul Bose and Ishwak Singh and directed by Atul Sabharwal, is set for release on September 13 on Zee 5.
