Anurag Kashyap’s Encounter with a Stranger Who Entered His House to Pitch a Script: The Surprising Turn of Events

Anurag Kashyap talks about an uninvited guest at his house
In a recent interview with comedian Samay Raina, Anurag Kashyap shared an incident where a stranger entered his house without permission and asked him to read his script.
“Once, a man entered my house without permission. He rang the bell, opened the door, and walked in. He said, ‘Sir, read my script’, and I asked him, ‘Who are you?'” Kashyap recalled.
Anurag remembered that the stranger kept insisting on him reading the script, while the filmmaker continued to inquire about the man’s identity. The man eventually told Anurag that his father had passed away.
Anurag Kashyap remembers being “rude” to him
Anurag admitted that he was not very polite and expressed his condolences for the man’s late father.
“I told him, ‘But that doesn’t mean I have to read your script’. I was quite harsh with him and asked him to leave my house. These things happen to me all the time,” the Bad Cop actor added.

When Anurag Kashyap upset Naseeruddin Shah
In a recent revelation, Anurag Kashyap mentioned that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah was upset with him when he left his play to pursue a career in Bollywood. Kashyap referred to his breakthrough as a co-dialogue writer in the 1998 film, Satya.
Anurag Kashyap is well-known for his work in movies like the Gangs of Wasseypur series, Gulaal, Ugly, Manmarziyaan, The Girl in Yellow Boots, Dev D, and Black Friday, among others.
