Actor and comedian Anoop Chandran, known for his work in Malayalam movies, made headlines for criticizing Fahadh Faasil. In a recent interview, Anoop accused Fahadh and his wife Nazriya of being selfish and criticized Fahadh for not attending the meeting despite being in Kochi.
Anoop emphasized the importance of young actors participating in AMMA’s activities and specifically called out Fahadh Faasil for his absence from the meeting.
He mentioned, “He (Fahadh) is a highly paid actor but chose not to attend the AMMA meeting despite being in Kochi. They attended Meera Nandan’s wedding but skipped the general body meet.”
Anoop went on to label Fahadh as someone who prioritizes money over unity, which goes against AMMA’s goal of bringing everyone together.

Following the viral post, Fahadh’s fans came to his defense, criticizing Anoop for making unfounded accusations without understanding the full story. Many pointed out that other young stars like Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, and Prithviraj Sukumaran also did not attend the event.
