Anil Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and Emraan Hashmi applaud Indian hockey team’s thrilling victory in Paris Olympics 2024 semifinals
The Indian contingent has been making the country proud by achieving victory in various sports events at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. On August 4, the Indian Hockey Team advanced to the semi-finals of the prestigious event, delighting viewers at the stadium. Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and Emraan Hashmi celebrated their incredible achievement alongside all Indians.
Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of the winning team and wrote, “An intense match that culminated in a victory for Team India! The semi-finals are going to be fantastic! Congratulations on a well-deserved win! Let’s go.”
Taapsee Pannu, from the movie Dunki, witnessed the historic moment live from the stands in Paris. She shared multiple glimpses of the Indian team in blue fighting and ultimately winning the crucial match. Shortly after, she posted a picture with her sister Shagun Pannu with the stadium in the background, captioning it, “The thrill of victory!”
Emraan Hashmi, known for his role in Tiger 3, also extended his congratulations to the Indian Hockey Team on social media. He shared a picture of them embracing after the win and wrote, “Wow, congratulations Team India.”

Followers of Taapsee on social media would have seen her in Paris, attending the prestigious sporting event. Alongside her sister Shagun, she cheered for her husband Mathias Boe, who was coaching two Indian badminton players.
However, after the player’s exit from the tournament and Boe’s retirement as their coach, the actress bid farewell to Paris. Just a few hours ago, she shared moments from her last day in the city, saying, “What a wonderful and bright day it was at the Olympics. And what a fun game to watch before leaving Paris. This has truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience spending almost a week in Paris watching games.”
Pannu also expressed her excitement for the release of her upcoming movies, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba and Khel Khel Mein.
