Jon Voight Calls on Brad Pitt to Stop His ‘Nonsense’ and Hopes for Resolution
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been embroiled in legal issues for over eight years since their separation. They have been in disputes over custody of their six children and the French winery case.
Jon Voight, Angelina Jolie’s father and a renowned actor, recently spoke out about the ongoing family struggles. In an interview with Fox News Digital, he expressed his desire for the couple to find peace for the sake of their children. Voight emphasized the importance of stability for the children and called on Brad Pitt to end the legal battle.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorced in 2016 after two years of marriage. They had been together for twelve years before tying the knot. Following their legal separation in 2019, Jolie was granted sole custody of the children, with Pitt initially having joint custody but later being granted custodial time with the minors.
In addition to the custody dispute, Pitt and Jolie have also been involved in a legal battle over their French winery, Château Miraval. Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie for breach of contract in 2022.
Jon Voight will next be seen in the biographical drama movie Reagan, which focuses on the life of Ronald Reagan. The movie, in which Voight plays a former KGB agent, is set to be released on August 30, 2024.
