Angelina Jolie Urges Brad Pitt to Stop the Legal Conflict
In response to the divorce and custody proceedings, Pitt allegedly began a lengthy campaign to take over Chateau Miraval and use the company’s assets for his own benefit and for his companies and friends, according to the complaint.
A source close to Pitt at the time told E! News that the countersuit was simply a rehash of old material in an attempt to divert attention from the other party’s actions.
In the most recent court filing from Pitt’s side, his lawyers argued that there was no legitimate reason to revisit family law matters in this setting by granting Jolie’s request for access to Pitt’s communication regarding the plane incident.
