Unraveling the Mystery of the Billionaire’s Death: The Angela Chao Case
Further information has come to light regarding the untimely passing of Angela Chao.
The billionaire shipping magnate, who is the sister-in-law of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, tragically died in February at the age of 50. Initially, details surrounding Chao’s death were limited, with her family confirming only that it was a result of a car accident.
Over a month later, authorities have revealed more information about the incident that led to Chao’s demise. According to a report from the Blanco County Sheriff’s Office, obtained by Associated News, it was determined that Chao was driving her Tesla on her and her husband Jim Breyer‘s ranch in Johnson City, Texas while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit.
Describing her death as a “tragic accident,” officials mentioned that Chao had a conversation with her friend Amber Keinan over the phone as her vehicle submerged in water.
“Chao informed Keinan that the water was rising and that she believed she was going to pass away, expressing her love before bidding farewell,” as stated in the police report.
