Andy Cohen Sets The Record Straight About John Mayer Dating Speculations
Andy Cohen isn’t viewing John Mayer in a romantic light.
The Watch What Happens Live host firmly denied any dating rumors involving him and the “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” singer, instead shedding light on their close friendship.
“I genuinely adore John Mayer, and he adores me,” Andy shared with The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on May 8. “However, because of our affectionate nature towards each other, people struggle to categorize our relationship. They assume we’re romantically involved, which is absolutely not the case.”
This isn’t the first time Andy has had to clarify that their bond is purely friendship. He previously stated that they have never been involved romantically but expressed his admiration for his friend on The Howard Stern Show last year, saying, “I love John Mayer. We love each other.”
It’s not surprising that their relationship is so affectionate, as noted by the Bravo host, as it reflects John’s interactions with his friends.
