Andrew Garfield and Dr. Kate Tomas call it quits
Andrew Garfield and Dr. Kate Tomas‘s relationship has come to an end.
The actor from The Amazing Spider-Man and self-proclaimed “professional witch” and philosopher have decided to go their separate ways after a short-lived romance. Kate confirmed their breakup on Oct. 11.
“Are you still dating Andrew Garfield? If so, tell him I’m a fan of him, please,” a user commented on the scholar’s Instagram page on Oct. 11, to which she replied, “We broke up months ago but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved.”
The actor from The Social Network and his former partner, who mentions on her website that she has a PhD in Theology from the University of Oxford and is a “world expert in Mysticism and Catholic women mystics,” were last seen together in public in July, when they attended the 2024 Wimbledon Tennis Championships in England.
The couple had made a public appearance together in late March. They were seen holding hands while on a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham at a restaurant in Malibu, California, shortly after Andrew and Kate were spotted grocery shopping in Los Angeles.
