Ananya Panday shares her struggle with expressing herself during low moments: ‘I break down right away’
During a conversation with CTRL director Vikramaditya Motwane, Ananya Panday expressed, “I find it tough to express myself.” The two celebrities discussed their careers, love lives, their thriller movie, and social media, while also touching on the topic of mental health. They shared how they express themselves when feeling low or upset.
In a segment hosted by We Are Yuvaa on YouTube, Ananya Panday and Vikramaditya Motwane sat across from each other and talked about various topics including their love lives and social media. Playing an interactive game, Ananya Panday chose a card that asked her how she expresses herself when feeling down. She revealed, “I find it tough to express myself because I start crying immediately.” She mentioned that stepping away from the situation is the ideal thing to do, even though she wants everything resolved in the moment.
Vikramaditya Motwane shared that he tries not to be too instinctive when feeling down, as his instinct is to get angry and find fault. He prefers taking a break, going for a walk, watching or reading something, or switching off for a bit before addressing the issue at hand.
Discussing her movie CTRL, which focuses on the negative impact of social media, Ananya Panday admitted to considering a digital detox as it affects her mental health. She shared that while promoting the movie, she has been posting a lot on social media, but she recognizes the need to take a break. She mentioned that social media can have an adverse effect on mental health.
Currently, Ananya Panday is busy shooting her next film, Shankara.
