Amy Schumer’s Latest Parenting Update on Son Gene is Exhausting
Amy Schumer is finally getting some much-needed rest.
The comedian recently revealed that she and her husband Chris Fisher sought help from a professional after their 4-year-old son Gene started having trouble sleeping through the night.
“We’re finally getting some SLEEP again,” the 42-year-old shared on Instagram on March 7, along with a black and white selfie of her and Chris. “Jessica @awesomelittlesleepers helped us establish a bedtime routine for our 4-year-old and now he’s going to bed 3 hours earlier than before. We have our nights back! She truly saved us.”
Amy made it clear that she wasn’t promoting the company, but rather passing along information that had been beneficial to her family.
Since becoming parents to Gene in 2019, Amy—who married Chris in 2018—has been candid about the joys and challenges of motherhood.
“Being his mom is like heaven on earth,” the Trainwreck star wrote on Instagram in 2022, “but it also comes with a constant sense of guilt and vulnerability that I’ll never quite get used to.”
