Amy Adams Expresses Gratitude for Turning 50 Last Month, Describing Feeling Wonderful
Amy Adams is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Nightbitch, scheduled to premiere in December. Prior to its release, the film debuted at the Toronto Film Festival, where the actress shared her thoughts on her expectations for the movie and life after turning 50 last month.
Reflecting on reaching a milestone age, the actress expressed that she has no regrets and is grateful for the love she has received over the years.
In an interview with People magazine, the Leap Year star mentioned, “I know everyone is like, ‘Oh, it’s 50.’ And I’m like, I feel great. I feel very grateful, centered, and happy to be here. Really grateful.”
At TIFF, Adams graced the red carpet with her daughter and husband, looking stunning in a navy blue dress with golden accents and hoop earrings.
The Arrival star shared her excitement about her daughter joining her for the event, marking the first time she showed support at a screening. Adams expressed, “Parts of it I’m excited to share with her; being her mom, I’ll be more protective of certain aspects of the filmmaking.”
The Oscar-nominated actress added, “I want her to know how much motherhood has enriched my life and shaped me into the woman I am today.”
In Nightbitch, Adams portrays a stay-at-home mother who undergoes a strange transformation, acquiring canine-like features akin to a dog.
