Everything You Need to Know About Amaran: Release Date, Full Star Cast, Runtime, and Story of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Movie
Amaran is scheduled to be released on Diwali, October 31. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, the action drama film stars Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan and Sai Pallavi as his wife Indhu Rebecca Varghese.
Joining the two leads in Amaran are actors Rahul Bose, Bhuvan Arora, Shreekumar, and Rohman Shawl. The cinematography is done by Ch Sai and editing by R Kalaivanan, with music by GV Prakash Kumar.
The plot follows the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan during the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian, Kashmir, in 2014.
The trailer showcases Major Mukund’s family moments and his challenges both in the army and at home. His decision to join the Army was initially met with resistance from his parents, but he eventually convinced them to support him.
Mukund received the Ashok Chakra posthumously for his bravery during anti-terrorism efforts in Jammu and Kashmir.
Netflix reportedly acquired the digital rights for Amaran, which will be available for streaming after its theatrical release.
The film will compete with other releases like Brother, Blood Beggar, and Lucky Baskhar in theaters.
